As I sat down with my guitar, an old song by Delirous came to mind. 'Come close to me, too close for words and steal my beating heart.' This is the opening lyrics to the song and it struck a chord in my heart as it describesmy desire for more of God.
Although the song is an old song, there is an anointing that draws me to worship Him. The ending lyrics of the chorus goes 'You know I would be blind without You, so light up my way to find my way home again.'
Jesus I need You in this life, I need You in my work place, my relationship, my family, my thoughts, my ministry, my friendships, my plans, my dreams... Lord I come vunerable today with my hands and heart open to You!
